White Horses is proud to offer industry-leading Collegiate Preparatory Camps for riders wishing to compete in college equestrian programs.

*Our camps are open to all and any entrants, limited only by numbers, age, grade level and/or gender.*

Do you dream of riding for your college or university? Have you wondered what it's like to compete on an intercollegiate team? Are you passionate about your education on and off the horse? If you answered yes, this camp is for you!

 

2025 white horses summer collegiate camps

  • Camp NCEA 1: June 5-6

  • Camp IHSA 1: June 26-27

  • Camp NCEA 2: July 10-11

  • Camp NCEA 3: July 24-25

Camp Outline:

Ages: 13-18

Times:

  • Day 1: 7:15 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

  • Day 2: 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Camp Fee: $700 per rider (includes camp T-shirt and lunch). Additional lunches may be purchased for $12 per person.

Refund Policy: Notice of cancellation (via email or telephone) must be received 90 days or more prior to the first day of the session for a refund.

Total Camp Spots: 12 (2 sections/6 riders per section)

Note: White Horses LLC reserves the right to require a minimum of 8 registered to run each camp. All placements will be confirmed 10 days prior to first day of individual camp session. Confirmation will be sent to the email that’s provided to WHS, LLC.

WHS, LLC College Preparatory. Camps are subject to NCAA recruiting legislation, and such, may be cancelled and/or rescheduled should NCAA legislation make the scheduled dates impermissible.

IHSA COLLEGIATE PREPAraTORY CAMPS

DAY 1

7:15 a.m. - Learning The Ropes

Section A: 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. (mounted riding lesson jumps not to exceed 2’6”)

Section B: 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. (barn life, horse care, lesson auditing)

Section A: 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (barn life, horse care, lesson auditing)

Section B: 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (mounting riding lesson jumps not to exceed 2’6”)

LUNCH - 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. with Q&A Session *Speaker TBD*

Sections A&B: 1:30 p.m.- 2:30 p.m. (camp day wrap-up, discussion on team turnout and final barn chores)

DAY 2

8 a.m. SCRIMMAGE DAY - A Day in the Life of an IHSA Student Athlete

8 a.m. - 10 a.m. - Both Sections mount up for Schooling Roster Session

LUNCH - 10:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. with Q&A with a Guest Speaker & Horse Draw

11:45 a.m. Scrimmage Begins

Sections A & B: FLATS (2)

Section A: FENCES

Section A & B: Camp wrap-up, awards, discussion, barn chores and final discussion with Parent Q&A

DAY 2

8 a.m.- SCRIMMAGE DAY: A Day in the Life of an NCEA Student Athlete

ALL CAMPERS: 8:15 a.m. Discussion of NCEA competition/scrimmage format

9:45 a.m. - 11 a.m. - SCRIMMAGE FLAT

LUNCH 11:30 a.m. -12:15 p.m. Q&A on scrimmage and NCEA format questions

1 p.m.- 2:30 p.m.- SCRIMMAGE FENCES

Sections A & B 2:30 p.m.: Camp wrap-up, awards, discussion, barn chores and final discussion with Parent Q&A
