Anders Paulson Clinches First Win Of The Year
Starting the year off with a win in the No Entry Fee Welcome Stake, Balou De Nous and Anders Paulson proved to be the best out on the Highfields Derby Field on a beautifully sunny first day at the Aiken Winter Classic 1, January 5-9 in Aiken, South Carolina. Anders went on to win the Mini-Prix as well, taking home a check for $2,999 for a very lucrative show!

Frances Eischeid and Kabrio earned top ribbons in the Junior Hunters, and Lillian Cain and her Carbon Copy started out the year with ribbons in the Low Children’s Hunters.
In the Short/Long Stirrup Hunter section, Stetson and Stella Roina captured the reserve championship, and Logan Mozingo and Buckaroo Express won a variety of top ribbons, including three thirds over fences. Roina also won an equitation class to add to her collection.
