Aiken Spring Classics

Stella Roina and Garden Party

"Life is 10 percent of what happens to you and 90 percent of how you react to it." We send out the biggest congratulations for everyone's successes over the two weeks at the Aiken Spring Classics. What an INCREDIBLE family we have—the truest HONOR to be THE MOST proud of, and we thank everyone for their commitment to their horses, their sport and White Horses!

During both weeks at Highfields in April in Aiken, we had blue-ribbon results in the hunters, jumpers and equitation. Highlights included:

Hampton Tillman riding Caletto to championship honors in the Low Children’s Equitation and top ribbons in the Low Children’s Hunters. Hope Murph and Party Boy also contested the Low Children’s Hunters and Equitation, taking a win in the equitation over fences and a second in the hunter over fences and other nice ribbons.

Garden Party and Stella Roina claimed the reserve tricolor Week 2 in the Children’s Pony Hunters with victory over fences and in the under saddle.

Fly Away’s Pippi Longstockings and Sophie Stofko took the reserve championship in the Short/Long Stirrup Hunters and also earned top ribbons in the equitation. They had blue ribbons on the flat and over fences. Logan Mozingo and Buckaroo Express added more ribbons to their collection, with thirds in every Small Pony Hunter class for their consistent performances.

Nell Byrd and Belus G earned double tricolors, with the championship in the Modified Junior/Amateur Hunters and the reserve championship in the Junior/Amateur-Owner Hunters. They had three wins over fences and other top ribbons for a great week.

Debut and Caroline Berg jumped to the reserve championship in the Adult Amateur, 18-35, section and earned other excellent ribbons in the USHJA 3’ Hunters.

Carbon Copy earned the circuit championship in the USHJA 2’9” Hunters after earning the most points in the section both weeks.

In the equitation, Kabrio and Frances Eischeid had “Big Eq” success, earning excellent ribbons in the Dover/USEF Medal, ASPCA Maclay, WIHS, and the EMO Jumping Seat Medal. Olivia Lonneman scored wins in the EMO Insurance/USHJA Adult Jumping Seat Medal and the Ariat Adult Medal. Stuart Ramsey and Jockamo Z captured the EJ Haun Medal among other nice ribbons in the Junior Hunters.
