Tryon Spring Is Super

The White Horses team was triumphant at the Tryon International Equestrian Center during the Spring Series 2. We strutted to five under saddle wins, a tricolor and many other blue ribbons over the jumps to decorate the White Horses banner with many colors.

Highlights included:

Carbon Copy earned the USHJA 2’9” Hunter championship with a clean sweep of the jumping and under saddle classes with Celia Cram aboard.

Debut and Caroline Berg picked up wins over fences and under saddle in the Adult Amateur, 18-35, section and was fourth in the NAL/WIHS Adult Hunter Classic.

Fly Away’s Pippi Longstocking won two under saddle classes in the Foothills Children’s/Adult 2’ Hunters and in the Short Stirrup Hunters and took other great jumping ribbons out of a huge division.

Party Boy and Hope Murph contested the Low Children’s Hunters and Equitation, where they had great rounds and ribbons. Hampton Tillman and Caletto also took part in those classes, earning top ribbons as well.

Frances Eischeid and Kabrio won the EMO Insurance/USHJA Jumping Seat Medal out of a big field and earned other good ribbons in the equitation, hunters and jumpers.

Stuart Ramsey rode Jockamo Z to impressive ribbons in the 2’2” Junior Hunter, 16-17, section with great rounds.

Olivia Lonneman continued to accumulate more equitation ribbons with Quiero Van’t Laar, taking third in the Ariat Adult Medal and third i the NHS/THIS Adult Medal.

Anders Paulson and Balou De Nous and Emontros After Party cruised to ribbons in the Low Amateur Jumpers and the 1.0m jumpers respectively, with After Party picking up a win in a field of 26.
