An Awesome Aiken Summer Series

Ivy Bonds and Carbon Copy

The competition heated up at the Aiken Summer Classic Series, and the White Horses team stayed cool and collected with wins throughout the two weeks at Bruce’s Field in mid-June.

The first week saw Lillian Cane’s Carbon Copy continue her championship streak, with tricolor honors in the Low Children’s Hunters with Ivy Bonds in the irons. The pair duplicated their efforts during week 2 with more consistent rounds and great results. In total, they won eight classes, including the two under saddles out of huge and very competitive fields. They also won the equitation over fences and were third in the Low Children’s Hunter Classic with an 86!

Fly Away’s Pippi Longstocking and Sophie Stofko also continued their winning ways, earning the Short Stirrup Hunter championship during Week 1 with three blue ribbons.

Kabrio and Frances Eischeid earned blue ribbons in the Non-Pro Hunters and Training Jumpers while also taking great ribbons in the Big Eq classes, including the win in the EMO Insurance/USHJA Jumping Seat Medal during Week 2.

The “Party” continued with Garden Party and Emontros After Party winning top calls during the two weeks. Garden Party and Stella Roina earned their wins in the Low Children’s Hunters, including the championship and Children’s Pony Hunter Classic victory, while After Party and Kristin Paulson jumped to clear blue-ribbon rounds in the Training Jumpers.

Caletto and Hampton Tillman earned great ribbons Week 1 in the Low Children’s Hunters and Modified Children’s Hunters.
